The Periodic Table Became Easier With The Legend "Tom Lehrer"

I remember that...too many years ago...when I was in Grade 10 at Al-Khor Secondary School...Our Chemistry Teacher told us that, the Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev developed the periodic table of the elements in 1869 which displays over 100 known chemical elements ordered according to their atomic number also she added that...the table is continuously subject to changes as new elements are discovered...at the beggining... it was a little bit difficult for us to learn all about these elements...even on the current time...Students might mostly associate it with dry recitation.

However,  I do strongly recommend that, students should listen to " The Elements" Tom Lehrer's song which can make learning the periodic table more appealing...

Please...You are kindly requested to click on the above video to listen to
                                                   "The Elements Song"

We'll find in this song that Lehrer ordered the elements to fit the melody rather than following a scientific method...so to give the students a break from reviewing the periodic table...Teacher can devote a one lesson to teach her students Tom Lehrer's song " The Elements" which gives a list of the names found on the periodic table...The Teacher can charge the students to find the elements that have been discovered since 1960...But by now...further elements have been discovered and added to the periodic table...students can add the new elements in the correct order into the song before singing it all together...

Thank You All for Visiting My Blog....
